When Military Veterans return to our communities there will always be a period of transition that is, all too often, ill-prepared for and will cause levels of stress in a Veteran's life.  This is true for all eras and all experiences of combat or no combat.  Having another Veteran available to lead and encourage them through the transition and getting them in touch with all available and needed resources is vital to the overall success of the transition.  This unit not only focuses on ensuring the transition is successful, but the overall quality of life for the Veteran and their family is at it's highest level.  Leaders are encouraged to "do life" with their Team Members and to help them grow to a level of self-sustainability with the vision they will one day lead other Veterans in the same manner.
